Ms. Hallows is an accomplished commercial and residential escrow officer, with over 33 years of professional closi
ng experience. Her commercial experience includes IRS section 1031 deferred exchanges, multi-housing, and retail and office closings.
Carol began her employment with Jones Hassett on July 1, 1980, as a legal secretary and office manager. In 1985, she obtained her Texas Department of Insurance escrow license, and began closing residential and commercial transactions and managing the day-to-day operation of the title company.
She obtained her CESP (certified escrow settlement professional) certification from the Texas Land Title Association. Of 7806 licensed escrow officers in Texas, Carol is one of only 133 (less than two percent) with such certification.
Carol is a member of Fort Worth CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women), Arlington Chamber of Commerce, Arlington Business Professionals, and Texas Land Title Association.
She is a customer-oriented person. She realizes not all transactions occur within the 9-5 timeframe, nor do they always occur in the optimal office atmoshpere. However, she is willing to do what it takes to make the title and closing process as effortless as possible for her clients, and that is why she has been so successful. She often closes offsite within a seven county range in the DFW Metroplax, and will travel further if necessary.
She is also acting foster / rescue contact and a boardmember of the DFW Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club, and assists other national cavalier rescue organizations.
